I had a great time at today's meeting hosted by Coral Farmer, at his store Aqua Terra, in Cotati! Here are a few quick shots of the great healthy corals they have for sale and on display.

Thanks Steve for posting this thread and for sharing your beautiful pictures.

Yes, a big thanks to Aqua Terra and James for hosting our meeting. It was good to see everyone and the store looks better than I have ever seen it.

I'm pleased we were able to get a picture of the group to put up on our FB page.

I've been frequenting this store in one incarnation or another since its inception as North Bay Aquatics with Anthony, Tim, Mark, Joe and the gang. The old days were great but now the store has a true dedicated and determine aquatic guru and we are all the better for it.

It is amazing to watch someone with Jame's decades of experience, studying and research talk the ins and outs of a fresh water 10 gallon with a little kid who propably doesn't even have an allowance yet. It reminded me of myself at 10 years old offering to clean tanks for two months in exchange for a Triakis semifasciata... btw... Anthony and Tim took that trade.

We've got to keep these brick and mortors going or the hobby/lifestyle dies. If there is something you need please take the time to ask them to order it for you. I might be able to save $1.25 purchasing my salt online but I'd rather swing by on my way home and see what's new at Aqua Terra.

Looking for local Reefers

My name is Marty. Wondering if your club wants another reefer in the group? I was in the store when your group was getting together. But I couldn't stay it was my day for water changes. I don't come to this site often so maybe email me at martymazeres@gmail.com or call me 707-217-6644

Hey Marty. I am Ken, one of the co-presidents. Grant is the other. Yes, we welcome new members. There is no cost to join. Just show up to meetings.

You will want to check in here with some regularity as this is the forum we use to announce meetings and discuss whatever.

How long have you been reefing? What size is your tank? What do you enjoy keeping in it?

Hi Marty. Are you on Facebook?
Looks like he is Sean, he just likes the FB page.

Marty I will be posting about club meeting there too but you should follow the forum for all the other shenanigans. Like Sean always trying to give away some red digi [emoji38]
