That Fish Place/NCPARS Winter Event

So, I guess this time around there will be no speakers ?

Any idea who the industry reps will be ? or which industries will be represented.

Not sure yet sanjay, those questions might be better asked to Dave.

Dave said he will let me know as soon as he knows. He said he is working on the speaker, vendors etc... and that he will let us know as he gets responses from them

The only rep i personally talked to is Marineland,he will be there and i am sure there will be more.

we can book a speaker of our own if you guys agree or just continue to follow TFP lead

here is the latest info I recieved from TFP on vendors

Central Aquatics (Kent, Coralife, ect"¦) UPG (Tetra, Marineland, ect"¦) Seachem, Brightwell, Ecoxotic (new LED lighting)

are all confirmed as attending

What's the deal on family admissions? I was asked what it would cost for a guy to bring his wife and 2 young children.

Anyone have pics of last years event?

Any guess on how many frags might be there, I would be driving a long ways.

Don't have an exact number myself but they had tons of tables up and running... i would say this year will be even larger. Look on fragswapper.com to get a feel for the expected frags. Just be aware not everyone uses fragswapper to list their corals. I know smcooler brings about 100+ and doesn't list them as far as i know.

fragswapper is a good gauge on how many people will be attending and I would say that maybe 25% of frags get posted if that many... that is about how much I post the rest just come with me to the swap... how far are you driving from... mine is 3 hours one way!

Marineland will be donating a 70 Gallon Cube tank, 30x30x18, with a black Monterey stand, Marineland sump, NJ4500 pump, and Marineland MSPS300 Protein Skimmer as one of the grand prizes. ($2800 suggested retail value)

Also, there will be several other raffle items from UPG including Reef Crystals salt, and some pumps, heaters, new Instant Ocean gel foods, etc.

looking forward to the swap:fun2:

Tony I want to thank you on behalf of NCPARS and personally for the generous and awesome donation.

Can't wait! I hope that Marineland has its LED lights that they brought to MACNA -- I really want a chance to look them over again. And I have been looking at the Marineland cubes as possible upgrades...
