Here's a pic of my sump/fuge. I'm running a Vertex-IN 180 skimmer which I've been very happy with and pulls a ton of gunk. I harvest chaeto every few weeks, it grows like a weed. :bounce3: I think the 4x 90W spiral lights do a great job for it to get as much light as possible in such a small space.

I like to keep it as natural as possible by sticking with chaeto, live rock, skimmer, gfo when needed, and carbon to do my filtering.

Thanks ArmanS. I'm going to be housing all types of corals. I really like the mixed reef look of lps, sps, and softies. Sps will give that architectural feel and fill in good. Softies and lps will give that awesome movement.

I was contemplating between the built in internal overflows and the hob overflow. I decided to go with the hob because I'll be able to scrap the back coralline and have that real nice clean look. My previous tank had the overflows on the inside, but it's impossible to clean the coralline because it seems like it bonds to the plastic.

Another reason for the hob oveflow is that it will allow for me to take advantage of the whole footprint of the tank. I don't like how much space the internal overflows take up. I want to make the aquascape where my fish can swim all the way around the rocks without having to dive in a rock or turn around..nice and easy flow like a cylinder tank.

The antique Cherry stand and canopy is completed. I'm very happy with how it came out. Please excuse the missing door, it's being repaired.

The canopy was designed to lift up for easy access to place corals and for regular maintenance. :fish1:

I really like the room for aquascaping and swimming room for my fish. The 2ft from front to back makes a huge difference.
