Are my eyes foolin' me or do those two lower polyps on the "r u kidding me I can't stop drooling" red acan have a bit of yellow on them?

What camera settings do you use? with top down pictures i have been having problems with the reflection from t5 bulbs any tips?

I use a plethora of different settings. It all depends on what type of photo I am shooting. Manual white balance, focus, shutter speeds and Fstop are all very important. the built in settings are not meant for shooting under blue reef lighting. As far as reflections are concerned, acrylic photo boxes are key.

Maybe as they grow big enough to get out from under the older polyps for more light they'll darken back up. If not? Still my favorite in your tank. :thumbsup:

that blood red acan is so awesome! I think once the polyps on the bottom grow out they'll darken like the rest of the colony. and that "akward" side shot is amazing! Very great pics again Dan!

As many probably know, yesterday afternoon was both a great, and crappy at the same time.

lost a very valuable coral to me. i can't stress this enough, BE CAREFUL what you do to your tank, and respect everything in it (enough said)

however, everything turned out okay. Picked up a few acans from a buddy and DAMN they are sweet as hell. Slowly, this tank is becoming quite acan dominated.
