The Austrian Drop Off taken over by Acroporas

Flo,
Looking at new pics and new angles I can imagine a giant green fluorescent acro hanging over the drop. As per the rest the islands are good just need to be filled with corals.
The lower part it's also quite interesting and reminds me some reefs where I've dived that after a drop off ended at a sand bed filled with garden eels and rays.
Go for it!

You threw your fish in the trash?! hahaha. Looks great, super clean, nice rock scape, and I love that rock that looks like it's 'melting' over the drop off.Good things coming for sure.

For some reason, I missed the photo update.
It's the Austrian Rock Monster tank, now!
I really like the scape. Looks great head on.
I see not only one but TWO gyres, now. Very nice!
Can't wait to see the hanging acros over the deep section. ;)

Good luck on your restart.
Boring question, I know, but... which bulbs and LED settings? (got the same fixture) :)

As for the scape; it looks great! I've always been a fan of a minimalist approach.

Flow in your tank: What is the thickness of the bottom glass?
I would think that drilling a small hole in the bottom cabinet top and then placing a mp40 on the bottom glass blowing upwards would be a good idea....?

Upwards!?! Already imagine the snails making skydiving inside the upward flow... :-) that should be a scene worth watching...
Sorry ... [emoji854]

I knew it was some sort of pest. I have bubble algae as well, but I go on hunting sprees for it which keeps it in check.

The end shot looks a little creepy, like a stone monster pulling over the edge. Hey, you really wanted to know! I like it, should look good with some corals in it.
haha thanks Mark!
can´t wait to get my corals back into the tank... need to do some carefull placing!

thanks!
the Pacific Sun is running on my own Par Table... everything on 100% except red and amber. I am using Giesemann T5 bulbs now they really make a great light. Aquablue Azur / Superactinic / Superpurple / Aquablue Azur and the same on the other 4
the current MP40 in the deep area has so much power its amazing what you can do without paying attention to the sand

hahahahaha

I love the new look! Can't wait to see it filled with all your corals
thanks cFloor

yes i will never let it get out of hand like this again!

I'm really wanting a Gyre.. Your new pair of Gyre's isn't helping, lol.

You have the XF250? I've read the 250 is significantly improved over the 150.

no those are two xf130... i bought them in summer before maxspect showed the new one...
one was a trade vor a MP10QD and the other one i got -20% at a store here...

with the same deal i got the Vectra L1... 100€ less than normal :bounce2::bounce1:

I love this. Were you stopping to press the shutter every now and then or did you have an automatic trigger?

the GoPro has an automatic feature where you can set how often the picture should be taken.

did something similar with my DSLR:

That's pretty cool. I've seen people using an arduino triggered dslr for time lapse. It's cool you can buy a camera that does it for you.

that's a very cool feature!
I think you use nikon, right?
I don't tank my 70d has that.
I'm amazed that you can see that much of the milky way from right in the middle of your neighbourhood.
Very cool.
