The Best SPS tank that I Saw !!!

I appreciate the owners style as well. "zen" is something that has been done to death. This tank is more of a collection of corals and I like the fact that it displays them as a collection.

The colors on that tank are very nice and vibrant. As for organization of the corals, it does look a bit cramped considering the corals aren't gigantic like other tanks. I'd like to see how the tank looks a year from now when the corals grow out more.

I agree that this is one of the most awesome SPS thanks I have ever seen. Looks like a Shcuran skimmer and Deltec CA RX?

And you can see the huge difference between this tank and tanks that are using zeovit ???

This tank has a beautiful and strong colors.....very, very different from the pale and fading colors from zeovit

I wasn't going to say anything but...

Pale and fading?

Nope, not. BUt start a new thread and use the info line, are my corals pale and fading. lol. Wish my corals were pale and fading like yours are.lol.

And this tank is sweet. Wish i had the crowding issue. Mine just seems to start growing nicely and then boom. Another issue.lol.

It's a beautiful tank no doubt. Anyone notice the Elegance coral in the corner? Looks dang healthy to me. Also glad I'm not the only one with Valonia problems. Not my style of aquascaping to be sure, but to each his own, and the owner/keeper should be very proud.

There is no doubt this owner can grow SPS as nice as the best of them....But like many others have been said, he def needs to think out his new project a little better. With nicer aquascaping, this tank would be one of the best I have ever seen... but right now I must simply say they are some of the nicest corals I have seen......

Yes...beautiful corals...but too 'arranged' for my taste...esp. the clams in the front...

It's about a matter of preference..........I agree with shawnts106 it's way to cluttered for my tastes. The corals are absolutely beautiful, but with at least 30% less pieces this tank would be outstanding. The clams littered across the front turn me off also.

Great healthy system, but the aquascaping artistry is non existent. The current TOTM (phocuz) beats this hands down in this area.

Completely agree.

Someone in our club had a 125 that looked like this. She pulled out like 2/3 of the colonies, and let the best ones get huge. Much more natural looking.

His looks like the candy aisle. If you like that look, thats great. Some of us dont.

Nice tank though.

Too Cluttered

Too Cluttered

Hey again.

I seem to have caused a buzz again.
Let me reiterate what I posted eariler.

Dont get me wrong, the tank is beautiful, as far as COLOR goes.
But, I do not like the aquascaping of this display, or the massive numbers of acros shoved together so tightly.

It looks more like a fruit stand than an aquarium.
And I agree, the Clams littered across the bottom of the aquarium is a big ol' turn down/off!

I have seen much nicerly layouts than this.

NOTE* This is my personal opinion, and this post was not written to bash anyone!

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Simple as that!

Very beautiful corals, but I would have to agree that the tank is just too....crowded/busy/cramped.

If you look to nature, is the same thing......crowded

Look this coral reef : ( I can show a lot of natural coral reefs very crowded )
