ahh man... The nac7's probably gonna cook the competition - in price alone. I think it's time for the skimmer manufacturers of the world to realize that good skimmers don't necessarily mean you'll have to pay out the nose. Now if only the lighting manufacturers would follow the example.

+1

Just got my BM150 Pro and set it up. I am very impressed with the built quality, how silent it is and also how much air this thing sucks. The bubbles are really fine as well. I'll take some pics tomorrow once it has been 24 hours and post them up.

I just setup the tank I bought 3 months ago with the BM-160, just tried setup the skimmer and the Aquabee pump is not working. Anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks,
Jason

I think I'm gonna get the BM200P for my 75 gallon reef.

I upgraded to this one 2 days ago on my 70 gallon reef and am very pleased with it... It's quiet, and skimming very nice already and I haven't even tuned the water level in the skimmer yet... Just letting it break-in for a few days. I did cut the air intake a bit though, with the air intake full open it was making some kind of humming noise...

Here's a pic of my 200P in action:

This is a result after 50 hours or so... The collected foam is not yet the coffee color but more like dark tea, and that's the way I like it

Maybe I'll try and change the water level to see the different results in a few days...

Anyone can tell some about BM NAC7 ?

Currently I use BM105 in my 140l tank.
For few weeks I will migrate to bigger new tank 380liters ( 100 US galon )

It's SPS and LPS and fish tank.

BM NAC 7 - is it enough for this tank ?
or is it necessary to replace my current BM105 to BM NAC7 :fun4:

The NAC7 should be big enough for your tank, or a BM150PRO... But I use a BM200P on my 70 gallon reef, which is mainly SPS...

Here is a pic of my BM150, 4 days skimming, 75gallon in the whole system. With 7 small fish and one yellow tang.

thought i'd post pics of my new bubble-magus skimmer that is now shipping with the Cadlights 39g Pro X-1 system.

This syrupy goodness is just from the FIRST WEEK of operation of the skimmer - most of it from the last 3 days!

sadly, i was performing a water change today and forgot to turn it off before killing power to the return pump, causing it to overflow a bunch of the collected goo back into the system. sigh. at least i caught it relatively quickly. it still hasn't quite re-adjusted (or maybe i just haven't found the sweet spot). in any event, you've gotta be happy about this kind of production in the first week of use, right?

it is using the atman 1100 pump.

Well after much research and pricing different options I purchased a Bubble Magus NAC6 for my 75 gal mixed reef. It just arrived today from NUOCEAN and was shipped monday (with free shipping). I have just finished putting the final touches on my DIY 20 gal sump and willbe setting it up this Saturday. If it works half as good as I think and I've read I will be very happy. Will post pics when I set it up.
