So far so good...though I had to do it all free hand with my dremel... still waiting on my props and etc parts. Do you think that glue will have a problem with the krylon paint?

Thanks for the great DIY!

I moved it to the MJ1200 and didn't notice much if any difference. I wonder if the body of the 900 and 1200 is actually the same and just the impeller is different, like the Mag5 and Mag7 pumps.

Ah, I get it... That has got to stick out a bit.
Hey Marc - it's been a while. I haven't been following reefs super close lately as I have been trying to kickstart my business but your 280 looks awsome.
Mine has struggled a bit in the last year and a half. I upgraded to MH and it helped some. I think I may have DSB syndrome (I know this is still a debate).

A shrink would bring up the word syndrome at least once in a while. :D

Thanks for the compliment. Lots of good stuff happening in my reef finally.

MSD, eh? :fun4:

Yeah, I know... and it is SO young. I will be looking over it's file this week to revise it's treatment plan.

DH,

Have you seen the MJ900 any cheaper than $16.95?

Thanks,
Kevin

Bigalsonline.com has them for $16.49

Pet Solutions has them for $16.19

I know not that much cheaper and with the shipping cost it may not be worth it since MarineDepot is here in CA.

thanks.. I marked all the cuts.. hardest one was the bottom cut that attaches to the MJ. how deep and how thin.. but two or three test fits finally got it. Just wanted to show it can be done free hand. :)
