The Light has arrived!!!!!!!!!!!!

LT
I went to my tank last nite with a flashlight and my brittle star had my sand sifter star in its mouth next morning had 4 legs.

New additions to the tank.

Clickable thumbs as always.
Neon green polyp singulara

Pencil urchin

Acropora

These aren't new additions but here's updates on them.
Xenia

Bubble tip with Tomato

Peppermint Shrimp

Phil I never can remeber that's a green tip (under your lights yellow under mine) branching hammer.

Talk about photo ops. I couldn't pass this one up at all.

Here you see from left to right my Bubble Tip Anemone, Pencil Urchin, Xenia, and in the Anemone and Xenia my two Tomato Clowns.

I think an awesome pic.

Clickable thumb of course.

Here's the monthly update photos of the stuff in my tank.

Here's a sponge I added yesterday that came from the LFS's Bali order this week. I wanted one of the blue ones but this one was all that was left by the time I got there.

<a href="http://img139.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=51646_55reef2007.03.10.001_122_176lo.JPG" target=_blank><img src="http://img139.imagevenue.com/loc176/th_51646_55reef2007.03.10.001_122_176lo.JPG" border="0"></a>

Hammer that spent a day in the sand after the urchin (now moved) knocked it in there. It's shrank up some but appears okay. The pocliopora suffered the same fate and died. Also neon green polyp sacro which sheds a layer of "skin" like a shrimp would ever 2-3 days now. It's looking like it's growing at a okay rate.

<a href="http://img159.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=51653_55reef2007.03.10.002_122_15lo.JPG" target=_blank><img src="http://img159.imagevenue.com/loc15/th_51653_55reef2007.03.10.002_122_15lo.JPG" border="0"></a>

The clam seems to be happy. It stays out all day long unless something spooks it then it's right back out again.

<a href="http://img18.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=51660_55reef2007.03.10.003_122_138lo.JPG" target=_blank><img src="http://img18.imagevenue.com/loc138/th_51660_55reef2007.03.10.003_122_138lo.JPG" border="0"></a>

The finger leather. It's about 2-3 times the size it was when I put it in the tank.

<a href="http://img130.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=51668_55reef2007.03.10.004_122_49lo.JPG" target=_blank><img src="http://img130.imagevenue.com/loc49/th_51668_55reef2007.03.10.004_122_49lo.JPG" border="0"></a>

And here is the anemone with clowns and xenia. They are all showing good growth.

<a href="http://img166.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=51676_55reef2007.03.10.005_122_155lo.JPG" target=_blank><img src="http://img166.imagevenue.com/loc155/th_51676_55reef2007.03.10.005_122_155lo.JPG" border="0"></a>

Any questions or pic requests let me know.

Just wanted to post another update on my corals under the LED's since I added one this week.

The sponge.

My SSG's.

The anemone.

Branching hammer.

Green polyp leather.

Clam.

Xenia.

Finger Leather

And newest addition white Star Polyps.

And yes I need to clean my glass up front. It is getting covered in coraline algea.

Okay here's what I added to the tank last Sunday from the swap.

Hairy mushroom and either palys or zoas?

Pincushion leather

Pocliopora

And the stubborn Deamon eye zoas.

So, what is your verdict on the light at this point? Do you think they hold up to the claims they have made. Also do you have any Acropora you have been able to keep under it?

I haven't ventured yet to the acroporia yet. Wanting to see what happens with the poclioporia first now that I don't have the urchin to bury it in the sand and see if I can get the zoa issue resolved.

As far as the others in the tank they all appear to be happy with the lighting, except the zoas, and are doing nicely under them.

I'm about to the point where anything I get though has to make it a month in your tank before I think about putting it in mine.

I'd have to say over all it's lived up to expectations for me as far as current growth on what's in the tank.

Okay couldn't pass up the frags available at the shop had to get an acro. So Phil I now have an acro under the lights. Here's pics. We'll see what happens.

Ron ID please so I know what it is.

Well I just had my first problem with the light. Two arrays had LEDs that weren't on and working when I came home today. Needless to say panic set in. I fiddled around with the lighting levels cloud cover option ect to no avail. I had white on one array out and blue on the other. So I gave PFO Lighting a call and well for those of you out there with this light if your's has LEDs go out on you try (I kid you not these were her words) rebooting the light by unpluging it and pluging it back in. Apparently it's little computer brain sometimes gets all confused and doesn't turn on all the LEDs and it just needs rebooted to fix the problem.

So now folks you not only have to reboot your computer when it has a problem you have to reboot your lights LOL.
