The Nerd Christmas Tree of 2011

I setup a Christmas tree at work each year at the office that screams NERD. People from work stop by to see it each year. This year I decided to get out the camcorder out to share it online. The garland, tree topper, and other decorations are far from traditional, but it will make some nerds around the world very proud. I mean, how many Christmas trees do you know of with a working hard drive, DVD drive, legacy floppy drive, and plasma star? I am shooting the video and a co-worker gives the demo.

Wow really I was just thinking that same thing. Seems like it is probably a pretty nice place to work.

It is a place that does promote decorating for Christmas. We take the tree as it is up to storage after the holidays and add a little more to it next year. It makes setup quick and easy. Decorating is low priority and doesn't affect our projects or other work.
