Well he's done it. Picked up some sweet deep water polyps yesterday, jerk buried them today! I dug them up in time and re-aquascaped to make the zoa garden section less desirable to him but I guess we'll see....I did hesitate a moment when putting the mesh top back on....:strange:
Wife is now trying to catch him. I don't think she will. He has covered all the coral on bottom layer of tank. There is sand settling through out whole tank. I need 5 turkey basters to keep up. Will he ever slow down?

Wow, that is ambitious. Mine never even travels with the sand he picks up. He just picks it up and sifts it out right there... Good luck with that one LOL
I'm having some success training him. I think I can control where he builds his nest. Today I took down his massive fortress. Transferred his sand to the back corner of the tank. He is now creating a mound in that back corner; a spot no one cares about.
I'm thinking if he starts building anywhere other than that corner I'll just harass him physically to let him know this is not a good spot to live.
He has done an outstanding job of keeping the sand clean; I can disturb the sand bed and very little crap comes up. Thanks to him my sand ish ome to bacteria and not detritus.
Man U should try training him. Mine has been perfect. If he starts building anywhere I don't want, I just chase him away and he's gotten the message quickly
