The Reef Central Corner Club Thread

Hello people, I have a 52 gallon bowfront run with a 350 Kessil and a aquafuge HOB refugium and skimmer combo. I would really like to move to something under the tank. As we all know the space is limited. Does anyone have suggestions for a model that would work well, of course needing to be higher than long because of the pie shape space. I don't want to make my own and I want enough room to have a sump and a refugium which is a tight fit. Please give me any solutions that would work. I've seen a few different ones that seem to be a good fit including the Aqueon Proflex sump which can maintain a small refugium also. Please advise with any info that may help me make a decision .. Thanks .

Hey Sean,
I ended up moving the outer orbit fixture from the corner tank to my 41g 24x18x24 planted freshwater tank or now but i may replace my 29g with a 40breeder and use the outer orbit instead of my 4x24 ATI Sunpower. I'm looking at other possibilities namely 250w halides, maybe another outer orbit fixture in 250w version for the 36corner tank.
Really into building my own stands now so I can upgrade to larger tanks and sumps, making a stand or the corner tank is a must because the standard stand sucks, but it is pretty, just no room for a decent sump.

After 6+ yrs with my corner its time for a change. I am going to offer for sale to my Corner Peeps my "L" shaped custom built sump. This sump utilizes a nice footprint and has allowed me to run a Deltec APF skimmer 2 Little fishies reactors and a Geo Calcium reactor and Co2 bottle all in my stand. Please contact me for details.

Thanks windy,

I see that this thread has slowed down. I would love to get it back and going strong. We corner people need to stick together you know.

So lets see some before and after picture!!!! (I need some coral placement ideas)

Very nice Brian! I used the black sand in my 54g when I had that set up too. I have been missing the extra space of the cbf tank, as of now I'm cycling a 20h and its just not the same sub a standard rectangle tank. Hopefully in the next couple years I can set up the 54 again

Wow, I havent seen this thread in a long time, much less posted in it. I have a lot of reading to do.
Due to several reasons I had my tank running, but neglected. Ive been back on it and made some touch ups. I have alot of catching up to do w corals but here go my current pictures.

What it was...
Even the leather, sponge and gorgonian were just added. Only the the 2 nems were there.

Hey guys haven't posted a pic of my 54 corner in a long time. It has changed over the past couple of years due to loosing a couple huge colonies which i accrediate to flow issues. Here are a couple updates while in the rehabilitation stages.
