the ultimate 10-29 gallon tank thread!

Here's a few pics of my 10 gal. It's only about a month old and I only have three blue leg hermits and three cerith at the moment. Has a modded AC 110, 70w metal halide 14k and a small computer fan for cooling.

I'm just going to do zoos and one or two clown fish for now. I'm not that experienced and want to take things slow.

wow those clowns look huge in that tank! so do the coral!lol nice to see someone with the black/white mixed sand!

Suprisingly, these guys aren't much for frozen food (of any kind, they leave that to the corals and crabs) and will hold out for the different varieties of Ocean Nutrition flakes that they grew up on. That, plus cyclop-eeze and vita-chem, is pretty much what makes up their main diet...nothing special.

20G High Tank.

20G High Tank.

Well here is an update on the tank which is around 9 months old (pics taken back in April). I water change twice a week at 25% each. IMO large water changes are the best way to keep the water quality up in such a small volume.

Tank has come a long way since the pics in the begining. Hope you enjoy.

Tank is basically complete. Will grow out a bit. So hopefully i can now sit back and enjoy (but planning on adding SPS in the months to come as water is spot on).

Cheers

Im confused how do you power computer fans for a cooling system for your tank?I have so many computer fans i cant even count i would really like to know how plz!!!!!!:mad2:

Just add a tunze temp control and your away. Set the set point. Once it goes above the set point the fans switch on.
