This old 1500 gallon reef

Thanks for taking the time, Bill.

Very nice. What kind of flow are you planning on running through the sump? And what was it before the overhaul?

WOW- very impressive! I've seen the crane putting the tank into the house picture a few times but haven't seen the actual tank so thanks for sharing that. Looks like your new aquascaping is going great- from the picture it looks like you used black pond foam as well- I've got a lot of that in my tank and I think it works great. So what are all the other tanks in the fish room for? I assume refugiums and such but what is the total # of gallons in the whole system? And I thought I had some money in plumbing- with all that 4" PVC I'd hate to see your Savko bill :). Keep the pics coming and great work!!!!

He posted the dimensions on that same page 8*6*4.

Bill, what type of lab instruments do you sell? I work in a lab in big US PHARMA.

I am guessing that it's "Meadows Instrumentation Inc" since that is the link that his little red house take you too...

We sell HPLC and mass specs with some GCs

We use the HP HPLC's in my group, but that is pretty cool! We don't use any MS though, not atleast with what I do...

Didn't think to check his little red house Shawn. Thanks!

Are you guys running 1050s or 1100s . We sell both but I like te waters , well built machine , 1100 are too plastic .

Werun the 1100's in my group. There are other groups in the company that use Water's, I've only used the 1100's but several people in my group really hate the Water's for some reason, including an ol' timer who's been around since before HPLCs were invented. He helped me build my stand for my 40B real small compared to your bohemoth, but a 5th tank.

Good to see you posting again Bill, especially after the last thread you started about the tank years ago turned like.

For someone like myself that has a bigger tank, albeit the size of a sump compared to yours, I can appreciate the amount of work done.

What happened to the surge device? No more?

What happened to lighting the tank with natural sun light? MH only now or just supplementing blue light?

:eek2: wow:eek1:

very nice tank!!!! and impressive system. You have obviously thought things through very well.
