time for a change

Well, still haven't got my 12 nano to work even after all the advice I've been given here (thanks!), so I'm gonna start moving what's left into my 90. I've already prepared some by moving the chocolate chip into solitary confinement, aka the sump! But should I also move the pink urchin? Will he eat zoas, GSP, or frogspawn? Maybe as a last effort for the nano, does anyone think going from PC to LEDs could have led to nothing growing, and just slowly dissapearing?

Urchins are usually safe.

If you have a frogspawn you need tests for alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium, and go up to the SETTING UP files up in the stickies and read the bit on Dirt-simple Chemistry. That fellow will need to be fed calcium and that will tell you how.

Ok, just tested for those, and came up with this:

Calcium-460 API
Mag-over 1500 Salifert (only reads up to 1500)
KH-5.5 Salifert

What's the easiest way to fix the mag and alkalinity? I usually use B-ionic, but have been out for a while, and coincidentally just placed my order today for some stuff, including 2 part C-balance
