tiny clown triggerfish fish?

Is there a miniature variant of this fish? I saw this CL listing and it got me wondering if it was possible. That would be wonderful.

No. Balistoides conspicullum gets 19" and becomes a holy terror at about 1/2 that.

Only relative is the Titan trigger, which is one of the nastiest fishes in the sea, and it gets 50% bigger.

I have seen clown triggers about 1-2 inches.

Yea I maire their are small at first but once in they will jump to size quick

I don't see them trying to trick anyone with that post. They have small clown triggers. Babies are small, what's misleading about that. They don't say anything about the fish staying small.

If you already have a properly sized tank for the adult size, $50 is probably not a bad price for a juvenile. Be forewarned, however, that at least IME, the tiny ones have an abysmal track record. If they survive, they will soon become the only fish in the tank unless you have a very large system

+1 best to leave them to large, specialized systems. 15 years ago I purchased a Titan trigger to cycle a 180g... the meanest fish I have ever seen or owned. Would attack you every time your hand/arm went in the tank. Getting bit by a 8" trigger isn't much fun FYI

I have dove amongst titans and those are about the only fish that scares the crap out of me. You can hear them chomping on the reef and it literally sounds like someone breaking rock with a sledge hammer. They can attack divers and these were about 2 feet long. A finger or even your air hose would be absolutely nothing to them.

I have had lion fish, puffers, a trigger and more in a large fish only tank back in the mid 80's. This was the only fish that ever bit me and drew blood. I once saw him devour another fish in less than a minute all that was left was blood in the water. Unlike the lion fish their mouth is small but it is a meat grinder.

No thank you! Sounds like one terrible fish to have. Why in the world would they them.

Back in those days it was not uncommon to feed lion fish live gold fish. The trigger got to one before the lion fish. It was gruesome.
