Tips and Tricks on Creating Amazing Aquascapes

So here's my start. 72 gallon bow front, I painted the back with gloss black. I know I need some more rock but I feel like this is a decent start. Tips or suggestions are always welcomed.

I like the general approach you are taking. Two different piles, one with more of an arch, and the other with a tower approach. It's pretty similar to how I want to do mine. As you said, you can go larger, that would provide more space for corals!!! :D

Thanks for the encouragement.
I stopped at my lfs and picked up some more rock. This is the end result as of now.

Liking the arches.
I'm concerned with the stability of the central tower, is it sturdy?
I wonder if you could jam the top rock on the right arch in between the right and left rocks to open the arch a bit. It would decrease the possibility of the top rock falling off due to a fish knocking it, and I think it would give you more surface area to work with.

Been watching this thread for a while and used it for a little inspiration when scaping my tank its a reefer 350 about 47 inches long and 19 inches wide here is the end result!

The first thing you see when you walk in the room the tank is in is the left side of the tank so I wanted a scape that progressively got higher from left to right!

Sorry for cutting in but the pictures in the original article/post seem to have expired, or is it my computer skills that have?

They were hosted on Photobucket. Photobucket has changed their terms of service and pictures are now broken all over the internet (including many here). The owner of the photos has to pay $399/yr to restore service.

Don't hold your breath. Best we can hope for is that they are still on Reefcentral and move their photos to a different provider and update the links. Pity, the photos are what makes this thread valuable.
