It's really hard to believe how much they come to mean to us. Annaca will be missed, for a very long time. I still miss Tazz, and he's been gone for over 6 years.

About that twiddling my thumbs while waiting for the next NERAC...

THE HOUSE JUST APPRAISED.

Long Island, uh, I'm outta here :D

Santa, aka Old Man River, soon to be aka Old Man of the Mountains, also known as jan, etc., depending on who you talk to.

Well i took today off to check out a boat motor with my buddy and that didnt pan out as the guy hurt his foot. So i spent this morning back and forth to the hospital ER room as my mother was bought there by ambulance for the second time in 3 days. They thought she had food poisioning but its not that. They did a CAT scan on her today and that showed fine and ruled out a stroke. They have now decided to admit her because they dont know whats wrong with her.........

Jan,
I had to edit your post. Please keep in mind that if you have to get creative with the spelling to get it past the filters, it's not welcome here.

Oh, Larry, you're just being a spoil sport in RC clothing. Ok, I promise I won't do that anymore, at least not for very long more ;)

For all who asked and PMed me my Mother has Vertigo. They think its from a bacterial inner ear infection. There still running tests to make sure. Looks like shes staying in the hospital for a bit as she cant really walk without help........

Sorry to hear that, Chris. I had an extended bought with vertigo once, really was an unpleasant experience. Hope your mom gets over it soon.

Thanks for the well wishes. :) Shes still in the hospital but feeling a little better. She still cant walk without help.
Warren some of it is curable. It depends on what the cause is if its treatable or not. If its permanent for your wife she may want to consider Vestibular Rehabilitation. Do some research on it because she may be a good candidate for it :)

My mom finally got out of the hospital today. :) Recovery can be a few weeks to a few months.........

Chris,
Glad to hear your moms doing well. which hospital was she in? I work on & calibrate about 75% of all vestibular testing equipment in the NE.

Thanks Larry. Sounds like it could be a long road of recovery. Atleast its more something stupid than something serious but im not so sure she feels the same way :(

*fingers crossed* that she gets better :)

maybe this will cheer her up...
