Treating a shark for ich exposure

I have a large tank with Angels, butterflies, and a banded cat shark I hatched several months ago. I got ich in the system from some new fish that I did not quarantine (I feel like a fool) and I've had a few deaths already. I've tried treating with revive and no ich to treat everything including the shark but I've had little success.

I have resolved to remove everything except the shark to the HT and treat with cupramine (and praziquantel just for good measure). The shark doesn't present with any symptoms but I'm concerned that he could harbor the crypto and render the DT fallow period useless. At this point the tentative plan is to leave the shark in the DT and continue the current treatment unless I can come up with a better plan.

I need suggestions.

Sharks (and rays) won't get infected with Cryptocaryon - it only infects Osteichthyes (bony fish).
The only thing is that could be is that a protomont used the shark as substrate to encyst on. So you need to treat him like rock or a coral and apply the usual 72 days of fallow period to the shark and the tank before you can add bony fish again.

Just make sure the CP is pure CP and not filled with fillers and other nonsense
