Treating my new Mag

So I got a new Mag on Sunday and this time I went just straight into QT w/ cipro, as I'm pretty sure it needed it, and my last attempt I did not treat right away and lost it.
I'm following the regimen pretty thoroughly.
It does not look horrible compared to some I've seen so I think I got a good start.
Right now it's tents look like thin spaghetti more than total deflation.
It seems fairly active as in moving around and moving it's tentacles independently more than just flowing w/ current.
I'm sure it wants better light than this QT, it stays fairly high, I'm hoping to get it in display soon.

Yeah I wanted bigger really, I have half my 120/one of two islands totally dedicated to a mag, but I've been searching for months now.
At least it has a nice purple base and good color, wanted green tents but that is being picky, and my picasso's just seem lost w/out a host.

Thanks and I do too, just you know the deal, there are always shinier bobbles!
It seems to be doing pretty good, hopefully it does well, this rock space on the left has had a reserved mark on it too long now, and my clowns are wanting a home.
It's taking a great deal of control to resist an early pull from QT and into display, but I know better.

Yeah they did last mag, wish I treated that one right away, it was MUCH bigger, corals addiction knows, he saw it

Do you have a wave maker. I found my ritteri moved less when I added a wp-40. Looks awesome swaying back and forth also.

I saw a somewhat rare by LA standards orange/red tip mag today. So if you are coming up north....lol

That looks like a BTA to me, the lines at the mouth, the ridge at the end of the disc and column, some of the tips look a little expanded too. I'm assuming the lol is that you were joking.

It was labeled as Ritteri and looked too big to be a BTA. The mouth also looked big for a BTA. There were BTAs in the tank right next to it and they looked normal. I just thought the flow was too low for the nem to extend its tentacles and oral disc fully. But who knows...

Those are BTA. There are quite a few white radial line from the mouth, positive ID characteristic for BTA.

There's a shop here in Phoenix(aquatouch) that has a couple rbta that are 18 inches plus at the disk.

Coralsaddiction- Those 2 are definitly btas.

Yeah healthy BTA's that don't split can get pretty big.

OK, so this mag was not that bad at all on purchase, and I have not seen deflation since first day of treatment which was Sunday last week.
I was going to wait the full week as advised by protocol thread, but it was starting to seem to really want more light than my QT had, and I took a gamble and placed it in display just now.
It took about 20 seconds to attach, went straight to top of rock, and then my female picasso took about 2 minutes to discover it, and another 2 minutes to be deep inside loving life.
My male is still mesmerizing on his reflection on the other end of tank, but I'm sure he'll be looking for mama clown soon.
Fingers crossed all is good, pics to come soon.
