True Envy Orange PPE

Just wondering if anybody out there has them and where I can

get some. Best deal I've found so far is three polyps for $1050

but comes with no guarantee of live arrival. Also, I keep hearing

these guys grow slow which is why they cost so much.

But...........how slow is slow?

I would not not buy a polyp for that price and i dont care if it could sing and dance.

i have read there is little to no growth. Like you may get a polyp once a year.

Good luck with that. Ive been searching for over a year now, and have only found a couple that have them. And by how slow they say they grow, itll be years before they grow them out!

There are so many palythoas out there that will put this polyp to shame, yet it is coveted by so many. Which brings me to ask this question.

If there was a palythoa, that absolutely dropped your jaw, made you turn your back on a tank full of Envy orange, with coloration 5 times as intense and a blantant rarity that you have never seen before, would you pay $ 800 for a single polyp that was guranteed to arrive alive? All jokes aside, would you?

Nope. I'd wait a year or 2 when more ppl had it and prices were reasonable. Most I have paid for a single polyp was $40 for PPE when the craze hit.

you have to put yourself in this guy's shoes he is selling 400+ a polyp to some one your spending 1050 on three polyps that grow slow this guy dosn't want to lose money i think i think you should get a pic o the frag befor he sends them out (open) just to make sure nothing is fishy is going on and over night them you will be fine

the website says that they guarantee live arrival. i have gotten frags from my local frag swap from these guys and they are always nice quality stuff. I didn't get the envy oranges but could obviously see everything looked very nice.

I dont know about putting it too shame, but I have seen a couple palythoas recently that have some rediculious patterns. But $800 for anything that small is too much.

But....if youve got the money, who cares what others think.

If you order from RE, you dont have anything to worry about. I bought some stuff from JC a few months ago and Id have to say it was far and away THE best shipping, packing and frags Ive ever seen!

saw a pix of these envy orange but they didnt look that bright to me. i was wondering if they are as bright as some other regular orange zoa's i see. or is it just because it's rare and doesnt grow as fast?
so people like this because maybe just for bragging rights? i dont know. i still like the tubs blue cause theyre really blue under any light and i just got some jokers that are real bright and nice for $40 for like 10n polyps.

i think envy oranges are jokes. 600 dollars a polyp isnt worth any zoa or paly, there are plenty of beautiful palys out there. just cause one is expensive and rare doesnt mean you should want it. I really dont even think they look that cool.

To each his own. I just prefer ppes and would like to have as many different types I can. And yes Reefenvy does guarantee their orders but not on their envy orange. I'm not worried about the packing so much but the delivery. I sold a 7 polyp frag of ppes and used fed-ex to ship. They smashed the box, all the water leaked out and then they misdirected it 2 times. Next day delivery took 5 days and even though they sold me insurance on the package they would not honor it. So I had to send 7 more at my own expense. I know this is unusual but it happens and to order anything of this expense without a gurantee would be insane.

There was a guy over at CZ flaunting a newer zoa morph. He said he would sell anyone a polyp...for $1000. Obviously it was just for bragging rights as not many, if anyone, would pay 1k for a single zoa polyp.

Wouldn't pay it for these guys unless you really want something that really doesn't grow. I've seen these in person myself and they're not as bright or spectacular.

Actually that was a joke.. I know him he and he is friend of mine.. These zoas are not his to sell really. The place where he got them is growing them out and I guess will be selling them sometime soon...

I have a hard time beleiving a polyp grows that slow.. If it grew that slow in the wild it would never survive due to Preditation . Either people do not know how to grow them or they are lying to keep prices up..

Possible it grows slow in our tanks because it may have come from very nutrient rich waters and we keep our tanks so free of nutrients…

I remember the crazy prices people were paying for acans and now they are everywhere. Almost to the point where they are extreemly common.
