Found this in our invert system in a very inaccessible place. A message to the piece of trash who did this....I have survived and come out on top of situations much worse than what your addled brain can think up. Some words of advice, if you've got a problem with someone be a man and confront them directly. Attacking the innocent is the way of a coward and life will reward you appropriately.

For those who are concerned, no we didn't lose anything. The system and it's inhabitants are unaffected.

... these are living animals, *** do people think that they can just be replaced. this could have been a huge loss of life, property, and more im so srry to hear that this is still going on and so glad you caught it quickly.

Jealousy, mainly. Why else would someone want to destroy what you have? Because they don't have it and they want it for themselves. They're bitter, jealous, petty, pathetic excuses for human beings who don't deserve the oxygen they breathe.

I actually thought something along those lines, not defending it in anyway but it very well could have been something along those lines.

The OP does say the coin was in a "very inaccessible place", so it would seem unlikely. Still, it would be nice to think it was an innocent mistake!

Could it be a kid making a wish....im not being a smart azz just wondering .....

At first, we considered the same thing. However, the location was not accessible without deliberate effort. I will stand by my previous statement.

Maybe someone didn't like that you were honest and told them you wouldn't sell them a tang for their week old 5g tank so they were giving you change for your .02.........obviously kidding since no harm was done. On a serious note I hope the next time this arsehole takes a trip there plane dissappears!!!

Just curious, would that actually crash a system? I figured it would take years for a penny to start dissolving enough to actually leach enough copper to be fatal?

I'm sure it would take a bit of time to cause serious damage (not 100% so don't hold me to that) but I think it's more or less what the person had in mind when they did it.
