Tunze 3130

Hey Roger i have an old school 3130 protein skimmer that I bought from Aqua Tek back 1999 when you first started importing them. I was wonder if its worth buying a new model or is the design pretty much still the same from 13 years ago? Also its still on its original parts, gotta love the quality!

The 9011 is the current equivalent and is a good bit stronger, owing mostly to a new venturi nozzle that came out in 2006, 3130.160. If anything I would upgrade your nozzle, in 1-2 years the 9011 will be updated again and at that point it may be worth considering a new one.

Thanks Roger. I'll just wait for the new model then. If my 3130 has lasted this long I'm sure I can get another year or 2 out of it.
