joey, it just needs to find a sweet spot, mine will center istelf perfectly over the course of a few days and the moise will go away, it has alot to do with the mouting clip too, how it puts pressure on the sides

The only thing I can think of is there is less room for the prop to come out during reverse flow, and if it hits the fish screen before it can correct the direction...Guess I will watch one closely in action to make sure there is still enough room after the cutback.
Other than that anyone don't believe the wider flow is worth the cut?
