Hi Roger,
Do you know if there was a manufacturing fault that occurred with the Tunze Stream 6100? I have had my white plastic drive shaft shear completely in two and there was no blockage at all to put undo pressure on the shaft. Indeed I have just checked the magnet and there wasn't even any CaCO3 build up (not too surprising I last serviced the pump about 2 months ago).
FWIW I seem to have two different 6100s , one with a black screw attaching the impellor to the drive shaft and one with a white screw. It is the white screwed version that has sheared.
Should I contact Axel directly for a replacement? Is this something that you are aware of as a manufacturing fault in earlier versions?
