Turbelle help

Just got my Turbelle 7400's (2 of em) in place in my 120 gal. I have 2 questions. First what is the part # for the suction cup holders? And second, even with the flow disperser on I am getting a very focused flow. To the extent that the pumps are disruptive to my corals even at 30%. Is there any attachment that I can use to spread the flow out such as a spray bar?

Thanks,
Andrew

As for disturbing the corals- just wait. Run them at a lower flow and turn it up later. It is possible to make a spray bar but spray bars sharply reduce flow. I have the same set up in the same tank and if anything I don't have enough flow in my opinion. When the corals acclimate to the flow it will be no problem. The suction cup holders are part # 3060.41 but I strongly advise against them. Do you really want a holder to fail on a pump doing 1000+ gph? Can you imagine what your tank would look like if that fell in your sand? This part is still made and has I few applications but otherwise the included holder is the best solution.

Thanks Roger. The only reason I a looking to use suction cups is at my tank has an extremely wide and thick glass trim. I tried the extensions and even using the silicone to mount it directly to the glass, but being that I have a ful tank, dropping the watter for 10 inches while the silicone cures doesn't seem prudent.

Well, you can get suction cups- they are my least preferred option though. You might also just go to a bolt and screw specialty store and get some M5 screws in the right length. The included screws (plastic) are 40mm so maybe 80mm in Stainless or Blackened Steel. Just make sure they are threaded the whole length. Do you have a pic of what you are trying to install to?
