My green carpet anenome just went from 13" in diameter down to 3" in a matter of hours? What is wrong?

An update it is fully folded into itself and is just a stump!

If it is attached to something, it may be alright. Some will shrink up nightly.

If the mouth has opened and turned inside out, it may be near death.

Can you post a picture?
Can you provide a bit more data:
- how long have you had it?
- any changes to the tank lately?

Im in Newlondon county, I got it two weeks ago just added a 55 reef to system I just put a fire dart fish intoday and I had a broken t5 attinic, so i put a new one in. Thats it all parram are dead on workin on pic

I'm sure others will chime in, but to me it looks like normal night behavior.

usually at nigh it cups up it started shrining during they day and ithought nothing of it maybe im over reacting

Check your alkalinity. S/b 7.9 to 8.3.
Also ph: 8.2.

Make any corrections no faster than recommended on additive container.

Already did it as soon as i saw it i ran every test i had to make sure they where on besides for my calcium being low im set
