heheheh

heheheh

i blame it mostly on lack of sleep.. and brain cell's... from working in 90+ degrees for 12+ hours and then staying up late to watch MXC :)

Steve: based on your picture I'd say the "base color" of mine is much more brown, not cream, and the tips are a couple shades more blue.

Ummmm.. .. uuuuhhh.. yeah, it's my super green acropora... :D
Actually can't tell, but if I had to hazard a guess (depending when you got it), it could be the blue/purple Polyped Acro Randy brought back from Cali a couple years ago. Greened out on us, but the polyps still had their purple color. If you look really closely, sometimes the axial corralite on a frag will have retained the marking.

I will say though, since this is the 'picture thread', I was able to snap a nice one of the frogspawn last night.. I think I got this originally from Mark (Zack).

Thought I'd share a pic I took of this gorgeous fish with you. It's a Snooty Maori Wrasse. Not many good pics out there of this species...

Scott Michael's pocket guide says that the Snooty Maori Wrasse may eat small inverts and/or small fishes.

Snooty indeed!
Spending more time at Jon's then I take it? :D

Just to keep the thread going :-) Here is a pic of my tank at about 8 weeks.

Man, I thought I cleaned the glass better than this before I took the pic of my Clarkii and the BTA.

And finally, here is the Gobie that I added 2 weeks ago. He has been steadily building a "house" on one of the end. The substrate has gone from about a 1/2" to about 3" in his new area.

I haven't posted any pictures in a while so here is one that is kind of interesting:

fungia.jpg

This is my yellow Fungia sp.. It is around 7" or 8" in diameter. If you look closely you will see a white "branch" protruding from its mouth. That is actually the last leg of a Harlequin Serpent Star going down. Yum! I was pretty amazed to see this at the time. Unfortunately that was the best shot I could get before it was gone.

Steve,
if there was a caption contest for that picture, my entry would be:
"How many licks DOES it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?"
