Beautiful corals. I'll be placing a frag order with you guys soon!
Here's one of her highness the Queen eating red slime.

Well not a pic, but a video . . .

Feeding Frenzy

It is in RealVideo format and unfortunately not the best quality. You may have to save it to the desktop to play depending on the browser you are using . . .

Yeah Steve. Tell us about the Annularis. Does it behave with the corals?
And feed those fish more often. They're starving. Just look at them go at that algae. :)

I have had him in there for about two months now I believe. He doesn't touch SPS at all. The only things I have seen him pick at are a candy coral, zoanthids, and (OH YEAH!) brown star polyps. He hasn't touched any of the other LPS or mushrooms though I would like him to take out the orange and red shrooms in the tank . . .

Here's a picture of three different Echinopora in my tank. Not sure if they are all the same species, but just wanted to show the colorations as everyone seems to get different colors depending on lighting etc. The one to the right is the "Blue Chalice" that isn't so blue for me. On the left is the purple, that is really lite purple in my tank. Now, on the top is another "purple" that came out of Cali (right Mac?) that is far more blue in my tank than the "Blue Chalice" has ever been for me.

Great corals Steve.
I love those. Your blue chalice looks awesome. Before I knew which was which, I thought, I get to get a frag of that yellow/cream echinopora.
I keep my blue chalice under a ledge, out of direct light. It stays more blue that way. The other blue you have must like the light.

Very nice!

The Blue chalice I like the best is Gary's... Saw that this weekend, amazingly bright coloring on it. I'm still toying with getting my piece to turn blue like Randy (though after seeing Gary's, I'm not so sure I want it that color anymore :D ).
Of the two purple one's, the original one I got (and made you wait forever for a frag of Steve) was from Mustang, the other one, came from Birch Aquarium out west.

Now if only that were the Blue Chalice in the lower right hand corner . . . I wouldn't mind that at all.
