Virtual tank tour anyone?

Jeff, you just did a tank move so your tank is going a mini cycle. I think you should check your male up water to make sure it has zero TSS and do a 50% water change. Running a small amount of Gfo is also a good idea since it will help rove phosphate and iron and other metal out of your water. Iron Also feed hair algae

Jeff, you aren't the only experienced reefer dealing with algae. I've beat aefw and aiptasia but still have too much algae.

Just to chime in on the algae issue... I just switched in some new ChemiPure Elite a few weeks ago... that stuff is putting the hammer down on nuisance algae during the post-move mini-cycle (and semi-tank-crash) that I'm dealing with right now. Getting fresh GFO in definitely helps.

I'll be on a business trip until late next week, but I'll post up some pics when I get back (after cleaning the tank).

I am going to wait for Ben because he is further south lol. j/k

What happened to the Santa Rosa reefers? Come on guys lets keep it moving.

Bringing it back to Petaluma. Revisiting Grant's tank.

Nice job Ken I guess I do have a lot of corals loL. Your pictures are great a usual. Thx for taking them.

Yah, It has grown quite a bit. It was originally a little nugget from Kens colony. I would hang around when he cleaned his glass and catch all the arm breaks, after a couple of cocktails of course. ;)

Hi Guys. Just thought I'd share a pic of my Aquarium. Better late than never... Fully recovered from a 3 month long nutrient spike. Everything is slowly coming back and water conditions are ideal. Finally!! :headwally: It's a cell phone pic so not the greatest.

Better late than never Cory. Great to hear things are on the upswing. Looks like the tank is starting to fill up.

I know SR is being called out. I only have before picks but want to update to now after I rescape my tank. I'll post soon.

Cool shapes Tom, what type of adhesives are you using? It looks like concrete. Also how long do you need to leave those zipties on?

Thanks Grant. At the base I use Portland cement, along the shelves I used epoxy and zipties, at the top I use fiber glass rods. The zipties stay on permanently, I'll cut off the extra to make it look meat and eventually coraline algea will cover them up and you not going even notice them.
