that is a question I've always had about tangs..Do they grow to their environment?say if you buy tangs as really small juveniles and raise them in a 120g will they out grow the tank,or will they only grow to a size thats suits their surroundings??

I had a small yellow in my 30g for about 6 months,always stayed pretty small..Now that I got a 120g going for him,he almost doubled in size in a couple months..

Information on hormonal compounds can be googled.I think this might have something to do with stunted growth.-Graves
