Mark, that fluffy little thing is so cute, it makes my stomach hurt.
since I lost my dog, I have been thinking about getting another one and when I see cuties like this, it hurts!!
Those eyes.. Must be a mix? Husky/border collie?
I want to snuggle with him/her..
... Sorry, I'm still a tough macho guy.. I swear!!.. But a little snuggle wouldn't hurt..

Come on over he loves to cuddle. He is a pure BC. I know how loosing a dog feels. We lost our first BC after 13 years and his companion mutt buddy after 15.

Those eyes!!!! You could trip and fall into those eyes! Congratulations! How have you been?

Thanks. Been ok, work sucks. Had to take a pay cut and the company no longer contributes to our retirement. The up side is I did not get laid off. My upgrade has been slowed down because of it. Still going to go forward just going to be longer. The cube is rocking. Doing as good as it has been. Things are growing and coloring up. I have lowered the white to 60% about a month ago and things responded well. The cube will still be up next month for the 21 month update photos. I have done nothing different, not really one to tinker once I find what works.

Not the best of pics, but here is my tort.

You weren't kidding! The tank has really grown in! Nicely done:). Sorry about the issues at work, there seems to be a rash of that going around here on the reef boards. Remind me again what your profession is?

The tank is really full. I have had to relocate several things to my frag tank. Though I was going to loose my red milli due to being completely under the tort, but it is coming back just fine in the frag tank. I did loose two different "sunset" millies. They got moved to the frag tank to late. Last weekend I broke off a pile of orange cap frags that ended up about the size of my fist and the thing is still huge.

These are quick snaps just now. Did not even clean the glass.

Mechanical engineer for an oil and gas service company.

I thought that I remembered you were an engineer. I'm an automation engineer for a biotech company, always looking out for prospective jobs for engineers I know.

I had that orange cap all over my original tank, all from a potato chip sized piece. That stuff is crazy. I've restricted it to a single isolated rosette now, and I'll never glue it tot he structure again I think.

I am kind of loosing my passion for engineering. Been at it 20+ years already. My youngest will be out of high school in 5 years. Will probably start a new chapter then.

I really do not want to bring it over to the 120, but my wife really likes it so I guess it will make the transfer.

FWIW, I run my AI 52's at nearly the same params as you Mark, I got great coloration when I dropped my white channel to 55-60 from 75-80. I loved how bright the tank was when whites were up to 80 but the colors just washed out too much. Loving the bluer look at 60 on the whites. Have you found the growth to be the same when lowering the whites to 60?

I'm going through similar questions myself. been running 100 percent on all channels except for reds and whites. switched to 100 percent whites from 60 percent and noticed growth is better as is algae but more washed out look.
