Just wanted to ask if anyone knows of a good weather web site for analyzing Gulf of Mexico temps where Richard collects his rock. I was searching for buoy close to the site he collects but there is alot of buoy's out there lol. If anyone might know the closest one please post it.

I want to order rock when the Gulf gets in the 70's. I think it will be around May or June.

Thanks

10-14 foot seas....geeeeeeze...

but...buoys do not reflect the real thing...as my site is close to shore...visibility is the greatest factor..today was ZERO on the site...I HATE wintertime....huge tides....incredible currents...absolutely no fun....and a full moon makes it worse...bring on summer!!

but here is where to look

Well I was looking for lots of color and algae life. I bought a package from you about 6 years ago, I believe I got it in August it was a 125 and it had sponge, a few brain corals and a huge Christmas tree worm and lots of unusual plant life.

Just looking at pics from other people it looks like a few plant life go dormant in the winter and start growing again in the summer. I could be wrong but that is what it looks like the gulf does. Do you notice this?

Real special today...bring on SUMMERTIME!
