Why would we just decide to go out and spend a lot of money on a clean up crew and some fairly rare clown fish just to go out and kill them? Are you serious? Listen to your self. Lil tunechi and birdman jr. Just enjoyed their lunch it was some of rods food they were fighting over the big pieces. I also tried to give them that seaweed gel that came with the salt from instant ocean. They tried it but wasnt sure about it. Turned the pumps off and on several times to let them eat good. YMCM!!!!!

Not sure how coming on a forum and disregarding advice that was given indicates a lot to me. Its your decision and money but to cycle a tank with rare clownfish is questionable at best. Making ignorant comments and jokes about fish dying is juvenile. Good luck with your tank.

Yes because I was the person who made those jokes so that makes me ignorant. I will admit to laughing at them because yes they were funny. Its ok to laugh when people tell you that ur fish are gonna die and then because of your efforts and you doing anything and everything to keep that from happening they don't. Its better every day within every minute that passes not because we are "disregarding advice" but because we took the advice of someone else and it worked and is working. Call that ignorance. Call that heartlessness. Call that cruel. Because if we were any of those things the fish would have died a long time ago and we wouldn't be working so hard to make sure that it doesn't happen.

My advice would be to keep making big water changes everyday once the salinity is right. I had a smaller tank, 10g, that I killed everything in due to an ammonia spike. Keep using amquil or whatever you're using to keep the ammonia non toxic. Wc are the best thing if you don't have somewhere else to put them. LFS sometimes say it's ok just to make a sale so don't believe everything they tell you all the time. Do some research on what you want, then go ask them to see what they say just to see if they're going to lie to sell something.

Thank you Twiggy!!! Someone who understands. We have been doing frequent water test there is NO ammonia in the tank so that's good hasn't been. The biggest thing is the nitrate and phoshpate and all have dropped considerably in the past two days when we found out.

People with "chips on their shoulder" or who don't take criticism lightly usually wont last long on this site. You came here and asked for help and at least 3 or 4 of the most experienced people in this club offered their advice. If you don't want to take the advice fine, but don't waste your time coming up with an argument.

I never recall asking for help. I was stating a fact. Never once said what do I do. Maybe people assumed I was and that's cool and I appreciate the advice.
