Weird pods/cysts on Snails and LR

We were given a reef aquarium and have been trying to get it straightened out. We think most things are going well at this point but one thing we have not been able to figure out are what these weird things are that we noticed all over the shells of some of our snails. We have also noted that they seem to be deposited on some of the rocks. It seems like some sort of egg/cyst of sorts.

We have seen some of them 'come off' or hang off of some of the snails as if something had come out of them but we've never seen anything.

Just to point out, you can see them all over the snail as well as a few on the back wall.

Those look like nerite snail egg pouches. Funny that they are ALL OVER that nerite snail. haha.

Interesting....well I guess that's a good thing. So my snails are just gettin' busy?

Yeah, pretty common for nerites, they won't actually hatch though. I forget why, but they can't complete their lifecycle in tank.
