Went to the LFS for some food and...

I've never really had a problem keeping haddoni's in a reef tank, After they find a spot to there liking, they don't move on me.
The first to weeks are the only time i have had them destroy corals or such, as they move to find there spot.
Don't be suprised if it lets go and starts floating around, i predict it relocatingto the sand before long.
Ime, younger, smaller sized haddoni's will attach to the rock on occasion, while a big adult ime never will.

If you see it moving, or floating around, dig out a hole in the sand by a rock and bury it there with all the flow off. Give it 20 minutes and it should attach and be set.

I have been trying to propagate large sea anemone in the past three years, got some babies but none has survived past 6 months.

I also have a blue one like your's and would love to trade you one of mine baby elegance.
I sent you PM

I know someone who sliced a red haddoni in half and got two nice smaller haddonis in its place:). This is how(I think it was calfo and/or Borneman) showed how to frag them during IMAC...

I have fragged a large 20+ inch green haddoni with a successful outcome, they do take a bit longer to heal than a bubble tip though. More like the same length as a long tentacle. about 2 months.

There was a guy a few months ago who made a log of his attempt to split a carpet. I havent kept up with it and im not sure who it was.

Phil henderson. He fragged his merten's and it would have been completely successful had air not got to one half i believe.
Search for "i fragged my carpet" and you will find it.

Very much like mine when I first got him, color and all.
