what did you guys did or buy for your tank today

Added a krypto candy coral, brain maze and a red cap coral...bought some phytoplankton to target feed, the candy loves it.

I moved some rocks around because they were to close to the glass, I broke some corals doing it and I took a picture

cool thread.

Just recently started meddling with my tank again after a massive die off of all my corals/inverts and several fish due to some cleaning solvents getting into my tank.

So, recently 3 ocean revive S026 fixtures hung in my canopy now. Got a new Seaside Aquatics ES2 skimmer. A one spot foxface, royal gramma, and sailfin tang in QT.

Some basic red mushrooms moved out of QT and into my 180 and moved some green zoa's from my 20l mantis tank to my 180.

Several More changes to come.

got a yellow belly blue tang and a lineatus wrasse

Green and red bubble tip on their way. I'm also waiting on a maxspect gyre xf150 and by the time I have that in and flow setup the BTA's will be ready to go in.

Just got more water to top for the week, getting some green algae now..turn the lights off for a couple of days, also in my African cichlid tank green hard green algae, so for that tank Im going to have the llight on for about a hr then leave it off...

Skimmer arrived yesterday (reshipped since fedex sent last one to las vegas) . Plumbed in a temporary "sump" to hold it and my heaters. Flowing 158gph through sump, skimmer is rated for 150g tank. Got ready to get some sleep (work third) when Fedex shows up with the original skimmer I ordered...:spin1: Gonna email seller Monday, maybe I will get to keep it also..

changed heaters out yesterday, along with water changes, just noticed I forgot to turn heaters back on,, tanks is at 71f,,,, (beats head against wall)

New pH probe for the new year and calibrated it to a 7 and 10 solution.

Checked calibration on pinpoint conductivity probe in salt mixing station and vitalsine refractometer with some new pinpoint 53ms solution. Showed both were off by 4 ppt!!!! Luckily I buy two at a time to cross check the solutions accuracy. I got a bad bottle. The 2nd bottle showed both were spot on still. I also cross checked that with my Milwaukee salinity meter that's calibrated to 0 with ro/di and came up with 39 with the bad bottle and 35 with the good bottle.

Cleaned out the skimmer cup. Very happy with this new skimmer so far.

Who doesn't like pictures of poop and calcium

Then I finally got around to hooking up my ozone generator to the skimmer. Just a T and some tubing. One into the collection cup to draw any ozone not used up back into the skimmer and duct tape of the other holes. This also is a way to reduce over flows. Then the other tubing to the ozone generator.
