I am currently using the following additives for my 90 with about 15 corals (softies, lps, & sps).

Kent Liquid Reactor (Calcium)
Kent Tech I (Iodine)
Kent Strontium/Moly.

I aslo at DT's EOD and VitaChem

What do you all recommed for dosing (brand, quantity, type, etc)?

ESV B-Ionic(alk and cal. supplement).... dont dose iodine, strontium, kent tech.. depending on your salt mix and weekly changes you should be able to get trace elements from your water changes.. dont dose something you dont test for..(iodine)too much can be very bad..

reactors are best,

I would use arm and hammer baking soda (alk), prestone deicer (CA), and mrs. wages pickling lime (balanced). If you wanted trace elements dose that.

I don't know if its safe. Generally if its 85% calcium and 15% water it might be alright. Depends on how pure it is. I think thats the brand I have. Test a small batch in a glass and give it the visual test. if there isn't too many contaminants then you can try a very small amount in the tank and watch for problems. Thats what I did and I have no probs.

No guanentees. Your risk.

Go the RC Reef Chemistry forum and read read read.
Don't dose what you don't test for.
It looks like you're dosing things you shouldn't.

I don't dose anything. Regular water changes (every two weeks) with Tropic Marin keeps my levels where they should be.

I have been using the 2 part addative that RI has poste the link for. I have used it for about 6 months now and no bad effects. Some batches that I make will have a light brown sediment in the bottom of the Calcium mixture. I just simply toss the last little bit of the gallon jug down the drain.

Really cheap recipe. For about $14.00, I got enough Prestone to last me a year or more.
