What do you reef geek's really look like???

Thanks for the info. I have not been on Photobucket since the upgrade until today. It was the default album that made it work.

Make sure you select the choice that says 'IMG code',

Photobucket is not as user friendly anymore since theyve added a million new features. But make sure when you are logged in you go to your DEFAULT ALBUM. There it should work just like I suggested. I just tried it and it worked.

Looks like a wax statue to me.....
Oh, and welcome to page 5

Dude, this ain't the lounge, (yet).

And I agree, looks like wax to me also.

Smith62, Start looking into schools. It's never too early. If you're good enough, look down here in the states. The band thing can work whether you're in school or not. The school thing doesn't come easily later in life.

Smith62, I highly recommend you get in a band as soon as you can. There is a whole set of skills to playing in a band that are different than playing solo. And the only real way to get them is to put in the time. Guitar player here. And playing a crowd of several hundred people is something else. I can only imagine what it must be like to play in front of thousands.

At any rate, whether in a band or not, get as much exposure playing in front of people as possible.

This thread quickly went from "What do you look like" to "what do your toys look like"

btw. I know theres a lot more cuties out there in this hobby. Lets see ya!

You may be right, but it is interesting to see all of the similar interests as someone else stated. I personally find it more interesting than the actual pics of the people :P I guess we could start another thread for that in the lounge though.

My last hijack on this.

Guitar player here.

Drummer here and played in front of hundreds myself. Nice but my brother being a concert pianist has played in front of tens of thousands. Has also conducted choirs and orchestras all over the world. He is now retired and still accompanies many singers in the New York and New Jersey area. These things aren't possible without schooling. The band, maybe you'll make it. Look at how many haven't.

I'm just sayin!!!!!!

Cheers

This is me after a hard day at work.

I have been looking into going further with my music actually. But thats on top of studying in university and my plan for Med school. Maybe band now.. then music school when things even out.
Anywho, thanks for the advice, but this thread is way off track.. sorry!

I'm into djing and making my own music digitally now but I'm also trying to get an acoustic band thing on the go. I have some experimental beats I made on FL Studio and stuff but nothing really of me playing piano live.

Cool man, I'm into DJ'ing too. I used to play piano as a kid, and got some technics 1200s about 9 years ago. Last year, I sold them and went digital for home use. Its fun, I play little gigs out here in Laguna Beach every once in a while... although Cali people aren't usually really into the "techno" music as they call it. :crazy1:
