Everybody needs a hobby, I have only have cars and reef's these days,

The last car show I did, after 3 seasons and a wall of trophies I retired myself from the politics of car shows.

The real money pit, but nothing rides, handles and performs like a large German V8. I have spent the past 18 months restoring this beast. I have replaced all of the cooling system, integrated an improved stereo system with the E38 and am refreshing the suspension, paint correction and restored the interior. You have no idea of what expensive parts are until you start working on an old luxury BMW. I have no complaints, I get 18 mpg city and 25-27 on highway, in a 4400 lb sofa.

Children of the corn!!!! I knew it!!!

Hey Jack!!! Nice Beemer!!!! I'll get a pic of my jalopy when I get home. And since you guys think reefin and cars are the only expensive hobbies, I'll get some pics of what I play with besides reefing!!!

If a hobby isn't expensive then why bother. :D I have noticed over the years that cars and reefing seem to go together and there are many of here with both hobbies.

Todd, that cornfield brings back some great memories.

We're not a bad looking bunch of fish nerds. I'll have to dig out a picture of me & my noble steed. At least you guys don't have to feed your cars everyday!

Crank the boost up on the Volvo! :D

Nice camera collection, it is a hobby I gave up, in 1981 I bought a little over 5 grand worth of Nikon equipment, including an F1 and numerous lenses, they all got stolen when I was living in St. Louis. My Dad almost killed me for spending that much money. I just have a cheap Fuji S6000 now which does all I need.

It is interesting how so many of us share or have shared like hobbies other than reefing.
