This is with a tank with full GHL dimming lighting

This is great demo of the lightening also

Why is GHL Profilux probably the market leader aquatic controller?

Well now you can see why!!

Oh and of course played to pink floyds ground breaking Albatros just wraps it for me!!!

We are now shipping to dealers all lighting options in the next few weeks

LED lights
54W Dimmable ballasts
48" fully dimmable plug and play I bars

And coming soon, fittings for building your own lighting modules.

Quit tempting me with these dimmable ballasts. :) I need a 24w ballast so that I can have my own laser light show in my house.:eek1: :eek2:

Can get for you 54W

You know you need it !!!

I may even start sending the ballasts out with a copy of Pink Floyds Albatros.

I must anyway thank Chris at cyber in the UK for this great video upload. Chris was one of the first dealers we had in the UK and there is not alot he does not know about the lighting options for GHL.

You should show yourself on here Mr Cyber!

Will you be releasing ballasts for other sized bulbs, will that be an option or will I need to go buy a four foot tank :(

This product is the sickest thing I've seen in years, btw. Awesome!

This is all down to sylvania the Ballast manufacturers. (nobody else makes dimmable ballasts that have 1-10V interfaces)

We have asked many times and Sylvania are aware of the demand.

Thanks for your great thoughts on the GHL range.

That's evil!....I would need 4 dual 54w dimmable to replace my current setup....oh well there goes the kids college fund!....again!

How many bulbs you got? 8?

If so then go halves and just have 4 dimmable only two ballasts then.

Have the non dims turn off then wind down the dimmables just as the LED effect lights come into play.

I have 6 running on IceCaps, so they are overdriven to 85w. I would need 8 bulbs to compensate for the lost of wattage. Yes I guess I could do that...I'll send you PM for a quote.

price is simple

You have two options,

I bars
or
Retrofit

if 124.9cm I bars work for you then price for each I bar is $249.99 MRSP for dual dimmable

or retrofit

Dual ballast price is $129.99 MRSP this dims two tubes

You would also need the EVG-AP2 card at $49.00 MRSP, this is the interface module

hehe its really too bad that I already got an icecap 430 ballast and 60" VHO actinics. I'm going to have to get a solar blueline in order to dim it (unless somebody finally figures a way to make the profilux work on icecap ballasts).

But I would love to see what an LED stick can do by itself in my tank.

These babies are in very short supply, I was unable to bring over any more than 12 in this latest shipment, and they have all been allocated across the dealers, so let me know if your really want one and I will provide you with stockists.

The LED stick is well worth the price of admission Ryan.

I wish I knew enough about electronics to figure out the dimming on my icecaps... I'd be set.

somebody has to be smart enough to figure it out :) isn't it a 1-10v interface? Just uses a different number of cables and nobody could get them to give info on what cable is what afaik.

anybody have a video comparing the SimuSpots to the SimuSticks? I'm interested in seeing what 2 spots look like on a longer tank if they're pointed towards the center from either end. I wonder if you get more interesting light cast that way.
