haha awesome pic Friday. I am going to call you Peeping Friday haha.

Whats new...well going to be new at least in my tank this week is a frag of a gold hammer which will come this coming week and working on a deal for some multiple polyp frag on UC (Since i lost mine).

OK so here goes, Ill give you a little background info. IM UPGRADING. Im going from a 90+30 sump to a 187+40 sump. So i need to figure out what to do with current livestock. So i build a nano tank(drilled with diy overflows)and spray painted black back and overflow. I ran vinegar to sterilize it then added live sand and LR and fresh SW.:) now just waiting for it to get unclouded:) also cleaned my GEO calc reactor and ran vinegar in that swell before replacing the media and reintroducing to the system. Been a busy reef day, but isn't everyday? haha i love this hobby....wait i mean addiction lol jkjk

Re scaped the tank a bit today. I pulled all the live rock out I had packed in my fuge. Rinced it off, and placed it back in my display to fill in some spots. Nothing like white rocks amongst the purple.
Now its time to cover them with polyps...

I found a brissle worm this morning in the tank. I took one out a month ago. Do they harm the zoas, and do you guys usually take them out?

I wouldn't worry about it dude. For every one you see, there are prob 10-20 you dont... They feed on waste and detritus. I would pull any really large worms out regardless of species just because i wouldnt trust them, but bristleworms are basically the equivilent to earthworms. Imo they are a great thing for a reef tank. Its not a bad idea to get a wrasse that loves to hunt. It will keep them in check.

Most are beneficial for a system. The population will be determined by the amount of food you feed or is in your system. They will only eat corals or clams IF they are already dead or very near it. I tend to think of them as the invertabrate vulture.

WC, re-organized the rocks a little due to some other polyps starting to over crowd others.
Preparing some polyps to give away for my local groups DBTC's

DJ TonTon Pink and Golds, chopped about 50-60 polyps easily off my rocks.

I watched the new zoas I just got open up! They began to open and then poof it was night night time for the tank. I guess I just have to watch them wake up tomorrow morning lol!
