What is your favorite Angel?

Great! Congrats, I'm glad you got a good one. Keep us posted and let us know how he does :)

Good luck
Jim

Somebody mention the genus Genicanthus? They're my absolute favorite! Especially the Bellus and Watanabi Angels. All of them are 100% reef safe (mid water planktivores), are sexually dimorphic with the males and females often in dramatic color and pattern differences, and they can be kept in groups of a single male and several females. They are relatively hardy and easy to feed... the best angels IMO.

Clarion Juv. or Venustas, both are awesome. Passer Juv.s are great to, but man, they truly are the "king" angelfish when it comes to dominance.

I have many photo's of clarions collected last year, including the hybrid that was mentioned earlier and an xythantic one as well.
I'll resize them and post them when I can.

im with tippy toex i love the coral beauty, except mine doesnt have that much orange on him, just a lot of purple. Is it that orange indicates that it is an adult and orange iis a juv.?

Does anyone have any experience with the singapore angel, chaetodontoplus mesoleucus? Looks fascinating, but possibly a picky eater. It is also called the vermiculated angel. They are available through Marine Center.

My recent Christmas present, a Coral Beauty is a fascinating little fish and quite pretty. Not as spectacular as the my Majestic or the Imperator, but still very interesting. I was very reluctant to add the little critter, as I had just recently had a very bad experience with a Lemon Peel dwarf angel. Apparently most dwarf angels are notorious pickers of corals. Anyway my Christmas Angel is a beauty and an angel! Isn't that a little too sweet!
