Hadonni. Gigantea doesn't have those exocoelic tentacles.
I will be picking up a carpet anemone tomorrow, but wanted to know what kind of carpet it is. Any thoughts?

It is definatly a haddoni and a very nice green one under my t5's. I got it for $20 which i think is a wonderful buy from a great fellow reefer!
If it is "definitively" an S. Haddoni why did you have to ask? (( not trying to be a tool, just wondering )).
I am leaning towards S. Haddoni, but not 100% sold that it is, can't pin point it, but something seems off. Any chance of getting a head on picture?
Wowser. $20.00 bucks is a killer price. Let me know when that price comes again and I'll be there lol. Nice anemone, got pics of it in your tank?
Here are some pics of the anemone in my tank. I am having trouble getting my perc and bw ocellaris to sniff it, though. I think it is because the anemone is on the sand and the clowns like swimming in the middle to upper portion of the tank. Any ideas to get them to get close to it? They hosted an RBTA with no issues whatsoever.
Those two pictures look a lot better then the first one -- there was something about that picture that bothered me, but not these two.
I would let them find it on their own -- do NOT force them at all, or the odds are very very good that your clowns will be lunch.
Do you have the BTA in the same tank now? I have had horrible luck mixing BTAs (( E. Quadricolors )) and S. Haddonis, with the Haddonis never staying put until I removed the BTAs.
No RBTA in the tank anymore. I had too much of a wanderer and hoping better luck with the carpet.
Good deal. Remember that S. Haddonis are NOT fans of high flow, so you might have to play around with that. Once settled in they are pretty hardy, but all of mine seem to be sensitive to low salinity/SG, so try to keep it at 1.026/35PPT.
Get some nice actinics and that thing will look great. Here's my Haddoni under all blue LED's...

Thats good info to have. I'll nudge my powerhead a bit so it does not give too much direct flow. My salinity right now is about .024-.025. I think I will raise it a bit to get it closer to .026.
