what sand for very high flow?

what sand do you guys use for high very flow tank. I am assuming we all have very high flow since we are mostly all SPS dominant.

I will be doing a rebuild in about 1-2 months and will be getting new sand, I am wondering what you guys recommend. Right now I am using the special grade aragonite sand and it is getting blown around like crazy still.

I am thinking of going with the florida crush coral as it seems the grain size is 3 times bigger. I am just wondering what flow you guys use to not have sand storms and spots in the tank where you have no sand, I hate that look.

yeah this is the sand I use now and it gets blown around like crazy right now. I don't really like the look of bb, especially when coralline algae takes over. people who don't know anything about a tank always ask why there isn't sand and whats all that "algae" in there even if its good algae haha. I figured there was some other sand I was missing, maybe not though.

I have 2 gyre 150s at full speed and 2 jabeo rw15s at around 75% so yes a ton of flow in the 180 haha.

jeez so I guess that's around 18,000 gph in flow, 100x turnover which I think is pretty normal for sps

I have a MP60 and Tunze6105 my sand doesn't blow around, might migrate a little but that's it. It's a mix of pink Fiji and Reef Grade Sand. I try to keep my flow up and middle and the lower flow is either undertow from the MP60 which is very strong or what get turned down once it hits the wall. 60 times the display about 10,000gph, nothing settles ever.
