What's your 'must have' fish?

I've wanted a Potter's angel since the first time I saw a picture of one. I had to try three times, but I think I've finally got a keeper and I'm absolutely thrilled -- finally I feel like I'm done stocking my tanks, now that I have that one fish I couldn't live without. I'm just curious, what's your 'must have' fish?

My must have fish (if I could ever find some) would have to be a pair of bicinctus clowns. Specifically ones with mostly yellow and a slight blue tint to their bars, like these:

My must have would be a female Watanabe angel! I love that fish...can't wait to get a bigger tank!! Also was a Venustus angel, got it a few weeks back and its eating spectrum, live brine and always picking at the rocks! so hopefully it will live! But the one thing I am too scared to try and keep that Id LOVE is a Blue ribbon eel!! After finding a picture of one and then seeing one in person, I knew saltwater fish were for me!!

harlequin tusk. i remember that was the first sw fish id ever seen and have always wanted. its years later now and im in the planning stages of a large upgrade and within the next year i should be finally housing that "wierd fish with the cool orange stripes" i gawked at years and years ago.
second on the list is an interuptus and a regal. those are two i simply wont go without either.

mandarin, for me too, seeing those colorful fish got me into sw in the first place just to find out later they are challenging to feed, ill get one someday second is clowns.third is wrasse

i cruise the sites all the time but cant find one fish that I think is perfect. I look at the body shape, colors, finnage price. I started out the hobby loving the show quality Thai Betta Halfmoons.

I'd probably like a marine betta more if they came in different colors...like red. I nice black volitan w/ awesome finnage or panther grouper would be nice too. But, I stick w/ communtiy aquariums for the color and variety.

mandarins are cool, but Idont like the shape of their mouths. I'm looking at wrasse and pseudochromis now. If I had a chance to see the Labouti, Flame, Exquisite, Scotts Wrasse one time in real life I could probably tell ya. I dont have any good pet stores in my area so I have to save money gamble on a pic and order online. Thats what I did w/ my Solar wrasse --after seeig it I kinda wish I went w/ an exquisite or something cuz marinedepot sent me a dull muddy colored specimen

LOL I'm not sure why - but that comment struck my funny bone. Are you saying that if they had been designed with a different shaped mouth you'd want one?
How about this? :D

I've always wanted a copperband butterfly (who eats like a pig). I know they exist, but I can never find one.

An austrailian "Chow" boxfish....that red body with those white stripes.....

Also, weedy and leafy seadragons...;)

For me it's probably anthias in general. My favorite fish are Herald's angels, a definite requirement for any tank of mine! And I wouldn't have a tank without a pair of clowns either.

"Wish list" fishes are Red Sea mimic blenny & Watanabei angel

Most of the ones that were on my list are now in my tank. :D

Bret61081, if you want a Wantanabie, go for a pair. The Male is also striking but will lose his stripes if you don't have a female.

falconut, sorry to hear about yours.

For me it's the following, which I already have. Pair of Wantanabie Angels. I just got my female a few weeks back.
Pair of Naso tangs. My male has nice 3"+ streamers on him.
Copper Banded Butterfly. I had a pair but one died recently. :( They are eating small pellet food.
Adult Red Corris Wrasse. Beautiful colors, what more can be said.

There are two on my list still to go. A Male Bellus Angel to go with my female. Weird in that the male is yellow and the female blue w/ black stripes.
Moorish Idol. This may be the hard one to keep.

If I was to set up another large tank, I'd like to go with some of the large angels. Blue girdle is my favorite. ;)

Mine is the Blueline Angel, Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis. I just love the shape of the body with the olive brown and almost neon blue stripes.
