When can I feed my anemone after acclimation?

I just acclimated my BTA and he is looking pretty good. Its been 24 hours, should I feed him yet or give him some time to adjust?

i usually wait a day or two. but some wait a week. try to offer it some mysis. if it doesnt want it wait and try again in a few days.

I had a BTA that I tried to feed after 2 days, it ate but regurgitated it shortly after. So, I tried 2 days later and it kept it down. All depends on the anemone I guess. I would say acclimate into tank = day 1, wait 3 days, next day attempt to feed. Basically 5 days total, like this:

Monday = acclimate
Tues - Thurs = wait
Friday = feed

Best to leave it alone and let settle for a while, maybe a week.
They can go a long time w/out food, right now light/flow is more important IMO.
Any poking/prodding may make it feel threatened and it could move.

i fed mine same day, day after, and day after that and has kept it down every time. Guess it must be doing good.

Over feeding can induce splitting, as well as stress from transfer.
