Where is a good place to buy DI resin in bulk?

Hi,

I would go with Buckeye Field Supply near Cincy. They seem to have decent prices. There are only two kinds( color changing & non color changing) your choice. They are a vendor on RC...............

I have a 5lb bag from BFS and I've gone through half of it in about 9 months. Do you really need that much of it?
 
You want the mixed bed ion exchange resin. I bought a bag from them a few years ago & still have 1/4 of the bag left.

It won't go bad as long as you keep the bag closed up well after you open it. An old salt bucket & lid works well as storage too.
 
di resin is for a RO/DI water filter......

that two part solutions the club had the group buy with carries it also ... didn't check the price though. ebay of course has it too i'm sure

I might be interested in ordering some or buying some off of someone if you have bulk. maybe a milk jug full....

That's the same link as the original post. I don't remember paying that much, but it's been over two years since I bought the bag.

I wonder if that stuff has gone up in price?
 
So do I want the NRW37 or MB-1? Ebay sells the NRW37, but the MB-1 says "deionizer". I'll split a bag with whoeve is interested. LMK.
 
Or you could separate and regenerate. Search online, you'll find instructions from regenerating the old TWP catridges. I did that for years and it worked pretty well, until I got around to buying a Kati/Ani

Sure looks like the same website just with a different name thats why I didn't catch it at first.

MB-1 is what I have always been told, sure looks about the same, I would call and ask the difference

Probably want to split with several people :D as it take 1 1/4 lbs to refill a standard 10" cartdridge
 
Everyone who needs resin - PM me please......my Husband does Water Purification for Hospitals and Dialysis centers for a living......we can get this at company cost. He will be getting me a price on Monday - just need to know how many people are interested in it. I can get the same stuff you are looking at on Resin Depot.....I can also get straight Cation and straight Anion.....

Just PM me with how much you are looking to get.....We can order a HUGE bag and split it up as needed or do individual refills as needed......

I can get HUGE bags of Carbon too......if you are interested it that, I can get a price on that too.

Yes, I have the MB-1 bought from Resin Depot. It's the same company. The phone number is the same also.

Sorry - I did not get a strong enough response on the DI resin to make it worth ordering. Unfortunatly - the company only ships it in pallets......
