Which Anemone?

I have 2 true percs in my 15g nano. Its going to be mostly LPS, with a few SPS isolated up high. Im running ALOT of flow(barebottom) but have a few spots where theres pretty low flow(detritus collects)

what anemone would be my best option? Im leaning towards a bubble, but im worried mostly about it walking... thats the biggest issue.

any input would be great!

Thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

I hate to be a wet blanket but I think keeping any of the host anemone species in a 15g aquarium is just asking for trouble. Most will outgrow your tank in a heartbeat.

I think your A.ocellaris will be just fine without anemone present. Just give them a small ceramic tile to lay their eggs on and they whould be OK. ;)

thanks, i guess i wont have to worry about my aussies getting stung now! :)

and theyre A. percula... not occelaris. i roll with style;)

LOL, true. I missed the part that they are true percs. :D
You'll be much better off without anemone if you keep such prized corals as aussies micromussas or acans. ;)

Get some Corals for them to host. Since you have LPS then try some frogspawn or hammer. You can put some hairy mushroom on the spot that has little water flow :) They will host mostly anything with fleshy looking tentacles.
