I have a powder brown tang and I am thinking of getting one more tang...what other one can i get that wont cause fighting or stress on each other?

Thanks!

In a 90 gallon tank I had a powder brown tang and a smaller yellow tang. The yellow tang grew so they were about equal in size and fighting ensued. So, my personal experience suggests incompatibility with a yellow tang around your size.

An established Powder brown can be very agressive. You might run a risk adding another tang

I'll second that. More aggressive tangs/fish should be the last ones added the community in your tank. That will hopefully minimize aggression and bullying. Powder blues can be really nasty. Powder browns have similar personalities.

Acanthurus japonicus( powder brown tang) is sometimes delicate and hard to keep according tho Scott Michael"s "Marine Fishes" I would not keep another Acanthurid with it . In a 75 . I agree with Gary ; in a 75 g one tang is a safer course. If you're absolutely set on another tang , avoid acanthurus and zebrasomma species. Perhaps a Ctenochetus ( tomini or Kole) could work but it's risky in a 75 gallon.

That is a handy compatability chart to determine which types of fish are compatable. But in this instance it doesn't help determine which types of tangs are compaiable with which type of tang. 'caution required' doesn't help me determine what type of tang I can put in with a powder brown.
